English 420, Business Writing

This week we met with Matt, our contact at Nine Irish Brothers to discuss our plans more thoroughly and to sign the contract. Matt brought along the current documents that the company uses for training manuals along with checklists for each position on a CD. He discussed what he wanted more thoroughly and as a group, decided to only work with the front of the house staff for the time being.

After the meeting, I looked at and read the documents more thoroughly and found areas to discuss for our next meeting. We decided to use Microsoft OneNote for this project as well. We arranged a meeting with one of the owners to interview about the bartending position, but he stood us up. We rescheduled that meeting to be directly after our next meeting with Matt (this Monday at two).

I am hoping we can start moving things into OneNote in the next couple of days and have something more solid to show and discuss with Matt at the end of the week.
