Work Blog #6

On Monday we had to present our final presentation. The presentation went very well but, we were unable to finish it as time ran out. We did not have any technological difficulties, but we could not show our video. Robert was discussing the advanced level of technologies and had to stop the video describing social networking. Also, since we were cut short Robert did not talk about our online sales option either. Even thought we ran out of time and were not able to finish our presentation, I still feel like we did a good job in explaining the new technological proposals we had for Knight Corporation and how it will benefit them and their communication between the management and employees.
The rest of the week we watched the other groups presentations. On Saturday Robert, Brad, and I met at the Hicks Undergraduate Library to work on the second draft of our White Paper. We added images and revised each of our parts of the paper. I related Knight Corporation into my proposal of video conferencing and tried to “show” how it will benefit the company and its employees all together. Joe could not make it to the meeting because he was out of town. But, we emailed him our corrections of the white paper so he can work on his part on Sunday. He will be finishing the corrections and will print out the copy to submit on Monday. After we get our white papers back we will be getting together again this week to work on our final copy. The final copy should not take too long because we have already made a lot of changes to the first draft and the second draft revision will help tremendously. I am very excited to finish our final white paper and I am looking forward to working on our service-learning project.

I am glad that we do not have too much left to do on this paper. The only problem we will have again is finding a time to work on it when everyone can meet. Hopefully this will not be an issue again.
