English 420, Business Writing

This last week of work for the white paper project was focused on final revisions of the white paper as well as preparing our group presentation of our technology recommendations for Knight Corporation. We met after class on Monday and used that time to get our presentation organized as well as continue editing on our white paper, concentrating on the design aspect of the final paper. My main focus was breaking up my section of writing for the white paper by making a table comparing the four PDAs that I am suggesting that Knight Corporation choose from. This was one for the things that I have discussed with Mr. Hannah as far as improving the readability of our white paper, and it also is a good way to get our of the paragraph format that our paper was previously in.
We met again on Tuesday night to continue working on our presentation and to finish up the slides that we used while presenting. We originally tried to do our design for the slides in Adobe Pagemaker, but ran in to too many problems so we went with Powerpoint for the presentation.
With the presentation out of the way we focused the final days of the week back to the completion of our white paper and are planning to meet again this Monday to finish it up and possibly Tuesday if we need it, and turning the paper in on Wednesday of this week.
