English 420, Business Writing

This week we spent our time focusing on our presentation and finishing up the final copy of the white paper. After receiving our rough draft last week we each made several alterations to our parts in order to better meet the suggestions and ‘criticisms’ of the professor. On Monday after class we worked a little more on the ideas for our presentation as well as discussed improvements to the white paper. On Tuesday night the majority of us met to create and finish our presentation as well as create and finish the pamphlet for our presentation on Wednesday.

Wednesday we gave our presentation and were asked many interesting questions that will help fill in holes left in our research and flesh out other areas that had only been grazed over. After giving our presentation we began continued to work on the design of our white paper. By Friday it was decided that with the approaching of the next project’s deliverables that we would at least need until next Wednesday to complete our final white paper. We will meet once more on Monday to ensure that the paper is complete and ready to be turned in. I believe we have all done a great job given our tight schedules.
