English 420, Business Writing

I did not think we needed to do another worklog entry because we were originally only supposed to do four, but I did one just in case.

We got the rough draft of the paper back this week and we started revising it. We created the three options individually and then put them together so the paper is not cohesive. We have to include an introduction and more of a conclusion. We also have to support our claims by tying it back to the company profile. To make the paper flow better, we have to include more transitions and tweak the language a bit.

Today Josh and I met and worked on our parts of the paper and the introduction. We also went over what we are going to say during the presentation. We made a handout and decided that we are going to give the white paper to the 3-5 people and the handout to everyone.

Then handout has the current company profile and the pros and cons to keeping the company that way. Then we outlined the three different options and included the pros and cons of each.

We could not decide on a format for the paper because everything we come up with looks jumbled. So we are going to meet tomorrow after class to work on the paper some more. We also plan to practice our presentation tomorrow.
