Work Blog #2![]() This week's emphasis was on the agenda for our technology presentation which we will do on Wednesday. Our program is Dreamweaver so we started by looking at and working with the program to familiarize ourselves with its features and capabilities. It functions like a word-processing document so it should be easy to most people who have worked with Microsoft Word. We did some online research to see how to best break down the process of creating an html file. We noted this information and used our own knowledge to compose a step-by-step handout of how to create a Dreamweaver file. For our presentation, we decided that we are going to have a sample web page made to show the class how Dreamweaver can be used. This web page will be well designed and illustrate all of the components of CRAP that we learned about in class. After we show this page, we are going take the class through to process of creating such a page by having them insert text, graphics, and tables into a file they create in order to help them develop a basic knowledge of the program. During class on Wednesday we looked at a few sample white papers from the Sales industry. We did not find anything major that was consistent throughout the papers but decided that it would probably be best to have a emphasis a graphics but not to the extent that it makes the consumer seen unintelligent. In regards to the website itself, we realized that our task was not suggest how to make the website but instead show them how they can adapt their current website for online sales. Further research is needed and we will be starting to write the paper when we meet as a group next week before our presentation.

This is pretty much the same wrap-up of Friday that I gave. At least we are on the same page! I am glad you are becoming so comfortable with Dreamweaver, as that will make creating our technology report a smooth process.
