jrreddin's blogPresentation Stuff![]() Our two different ads are very similar in what they are trying to do but are aimed at two different crowds. Our first ad is directed at Purdue students, because we as a group concluded that many students are more likely to go somewhere after classes possibly for a drink or dinner. In this as we included Spurlock's drink specials. In our other advertisement we aimed for more the Purdue faculty then students. This as includes the daily lunch specials that Spurlock's offer. The faculty usually has a very set schedule and would be able to go off campus for lunch.

Blog 1![]() This week we have mainly focused on the white paper project. I have met briefly with Mr. Spurlock to discuss possible things that we could do for him in order for his business to be more successful. So far there is not a single one thing that we are for sure we want to do. I am thinking about maybe getting an ad in the exponent for him or maybe altering his take out menu. These are just preliminary ideas and we are working on expanding them.

Blog 5![]() As the project continues, we have been progressing throughout the project slowly but steadily. After meeting with Mark Friday the whole project became a lot more clear to me and to us as a group. We have some more work to do before the final draft deadline and a lot of work to do for our presentation but we will get it done.

Blog 4![]() Before spring break we put together our rough draft and combined our parts, while looking at possible options for the style of our final draft. After getting home from spring break I have just been proofreading through our rough draft and thinking about possible revisions that could be made. We will meet a couple times this next week to finish up and prepare for our presentation.

Week 3![]() This week was a good week, Sunday we met in Hicks to get together our technology presentation and everything went smoothly. The first meeting with Mark is what got us moving in the right direction. This week we decided which part everyone was going to pursue and each of us got some of a rough draft for the other group members to look at.

Plan for Project![]() In my approach, I am going to combine the aggressive approach with the conservative approach in order to come up with an in between solution. I plan on having an optional retirement plan for senior employees, with a compensation plan for those choosing retirement. The plan must also include some pay cuts to those in lower positions. In order to go more in depth for my approach I need a draft of the aggressive and conservative approach.

Tech Presentation![]() Heres what I have so far... Photoshop is a graphics editor developed by Adobe Systems. It was originally developed for Macintosh but has since been altered to work with Microsoft Windows and is currently being changed to work with UNIX and LINUX platforms. It is considered the industry standard for graphics professionals. Photoshop has strong ties with other Adobe software for media editing, animation, and authoring. It can be used to help with the making of backgrounds, textures and so on in DVD’s. The main thing photo shop is used for in the movie process is making DVD menus.
