Final Research Paper presentations will begin this Friday the 18th. Here are the requirements for the presentations (click on the above heading to see the full entry):
Length: 7 minutes each + 2 additional minutes for questions from the audience. You must stay within your required time limit. Practice your presentation beforehand so that you know how long it will take.
Content: Present a summary of your research paper. You can include why you were interested in the research, what you learned, and your final conclusions on your topic. Remember to adjust your presentations (examples, extra material, vocabulary, etc.) for your target audience. You may specify your target audience at the beginning of your presentation.
Responsibilities of Listeners: You must ask 2 questions over the course of the presentations. Participation will be part of your final grade.
All presentations will be held in computer labs, so you are encouraged to take advantage of the equipment for powerpoint, visuals, video, etc. See the schedule (on this site) for room locations.
Final Research Paper Package Requirements:
1. Title page, with your name and date
2. Research Design Plan
3. Annotated bibliography
4. Peer reviewed draft of your paper
5. Abstract
6. Final draft of your paper
7. Traditional bibliography of your sources
