Heather has been to Disney World way too many times!
I think it is very strange that the main character poeple think about when they talk about Disney World is Mickey Mouse. And yet if we turn on the TV to Disney Channel we do not see any of the Mickey cartoons!
Over all the presentation was good, She had a small mishap with her pupils, she loves her family and the beach, even football, and she has many friends.

I liked Elaines presentation, because she talked a lot about her family, and the people who were influentisl in her life. I also like how she included a lot of picturese throughout her presentation, so that we could have a better look at her family and friends.

I think Liz's presentation was really good. I liked how there were more pictures than words. SHe had a lot of energy during the presentation.
I also liked Maria's presentation because it was deep and meaningful. She shared with the class her most difficult thing she had to deal with and how she put it into words and her presentation was really good. The only problem was that some of the pictures on her power point didn't show up on the screen. But everything else was awesome!

I really liked Maria's presentation. She sure has been through a lot! I liked the video's that Justin and Jeff made. They were fun to watch and different!

I really liked all of the presentations, everyone told a lot about themselves. The videos were good because they showed a lot without actually saying it and the power points were good because you really got to know a lot more about the people.

This project was fun. We got to share a lot about ourselves and learn more about each other. And especially Heather's presentation made me want to go to Disney World which I have not been to.

I liked Eric's powerpoint he did for his presentation. There was a variety of music and he did a lot of different editing that was cool. It wasn't just a boring slideshow that was pictures with words scrolling across the screen.

Erics presentation was very informative and well thought out. I know know alot more about him and his years before college.

Today we had more presentations from my peers. I learned that Cliff Huss does not like to take pictures and or have pictures taken of him. He also thinks that his sister resembles the devil which I found very amusing =)
Wed, 03/26/2008 - 12:17
I liked justin's powerpoint a lot, because he made it entirely out of pictures and music. I found it to be a lot more informative than the powerpoints were, because i am someone who learns more by seeing visuals, than hearing someone talk. I also like the one clip he had at the end of his presentation with him going off of a snow board ramp... it gave the impression that he really likes sports and being active.

I really liked Cliff's presentation. He seems very organized and received many good traits from his parents. His presentation was different because he doesnt like taking pictures;therefore, he posted pictures searched in google. I loved how he ended his presentation.. saying "...forever and beyond..I hope this is not all?!!" implicating his hopes for his undiscovered bright future.

Cliff has to be the funniest person in the world. He is very blunt and doesnt mind what others think. He also has a wild imagination. Instead of using his sisters pic he decided to use SATAN. I just can't stop laughin at this guy.

Eric did a really good job on his presentation! i thought it was so cool that he graduated fourth in his class! I really liked the colors he chose for his powerpoint because they were bright and appealing. I also really like the music he chose because there was a lot of variety. It was cool to how he animated his graphics, words, and pictures.

I liked Eric's presentation a lot. I liked all the music too, I finally found someone that likes RENT too! His video was very well put together I like how much hes enjoyed his life.
Wed, 03/26/2008 - 12:09
I liked Elaine's presentation too. Its cool how close she is to her family. My family and I arent very close so I like seeing familys that actually are.
Wed, 03/26/2008 - 12:09
Daniel did a really good job on his presentation! I thought it was so cool that he went to boarding school in boston and he was from california, thats a long way away from home! I thought it was cool too that he played soccer and in high school his team was 2nd in their division. He had good pictures and color choice that were appealing to me. I wish we could have heard his song, too bad it wouldnt play. Good Job!
Wed, 03/26/2008 - 12:10
I liked Omar's presentation. He has got the broad informations about himself so it was easy to understand who he is.
Wed, 03/26/2008 - 12:13
I liked Ellain's. She had lots of pictures and she explained about herself really well.
Mon, 03/31/2008 - 04:19
I really liked everyone's presentation, it gave a lot of insight to each individual. I really enjoyed Cliff's because he was creative and used google images to depict his life. It told about him in many ways and did not rely on pictures only.
Mon, 03/31/2008 - 04:21
I really liked Jeff's as well. He was well spoken, and his music went really well with the presentation.
Tue, 04/01/2008 - 20:55
I liked the quotes that Jeff used in his presentation. It was a nice way to start everything. I've never really done any of the "extreme" sports but I would like to try snowboarding one day. Family is important to Jeff and that is good. I liked how he ended with how he just wants to live to have fun. It's important to have fun and enjoy every day.

Cliff is big on being a product of his environment, that is, being very much like his parents. I can relate to his sibling rivalry, maybe not to the extent that he says, but my sister and I don't always see eye to eye all the time. Like Cliff, I also was involved in music and sports activities. Not exactly the same ones, but I was involved in both. Cliff said that he enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, and listening to music. I take part in all of the same things as well. I enjoy video games and watching many movies. Music is also a big part of my life as well. Cliff gave a nice presentation.

I liked Eric's presentation because he is on my floor and it's always good to know more about the people around you. he had a great variety in music and fun pictures. the one problem I had with it was I wasn't in the floor picture he took... I wonder where I was when it was taken.

#2... I liked Johnathon's presentation, becuase he was a video game nerd like me, no offense by the way... he seems like a very cool kid and I am still trying to put my finger on WHY he would come here instead of staying in California to go to school.
Tue, 04/22/2008 - 21:13
I like Cliff's presentation because I can relate to many of his hobbies and interests. I also have a sister, however I do not have the same feelings that cliff does with his. With sports and music, I feel that Cliff is a very well-rounded person.

I liked JD's presentation because i thought it was interesting how he explained how he got his name
Thu, 04/24/2008 - 11:12
I also liked omer's presentation. Its always interesting to see how people from other countries live.
Fri, 04/25/2008 - 16:36
I really liked Ryan's presentation, because I think that a common accusation of our generation is that we are more apathetic than previous ones, but the information showed that this is more due to a change in how things like voting have changed over time, with the allowing of 18 year olds to vote. I also found the monkey group theory to be interesting with how we surround ourselves with a certain number of people and then once we g over that limit we do not really pay attention to other peoples life details as we already have our own group established.

i really liked Maria's presentation. I learned a lot of useful information about adoption from both homosexual and heterosexual couples that i did not know before. She really knew her information well, covered all bases, and presented it all in a professional manner.
