I think this reading was useful 
Revising, editing, and proofreading is very important. In my opinion,especially proofreading is very important. I proofread my paper and also I always ask others proofread my paper before I turn it in. I go to writing lab, or ask my friend to do it because I am not good at grammar or structure. I always have many mistakes when proofread it. proofreading really helps to write better paper, and after you proofread it you can edit or revise the paper to make it better.

I agree, this reading is in deed very useful. Although some of the materials might not be entirely new, but it does help alot in terms of putting all the ideas together in helping us perform better in our papers through the provess of revising, editing, and proofreading.
This reading helped
This reading helped me come to the realization that I need to check over my papers a lot better before I hand in the final copy. I believe all of these writing processes are very important, but I myself do not usually proofread my own papers. I ask for other people to read my paper and give suggestions and proofread for me because when I read over my own papers I usually believe that what I am saying is clear. When I get my paper back from being graded, however, I know this is not true. I have a lot of trouble finding the mistakes in my papers. I should go to the writing lab like you and some of the other students do. I'm sure if I learn how to better proofread, I will write a much better paper.
