and thus have I gained enough expirence for my second tail. Fear me!

I found the reading to be rather obvoius. They just drouned on about three simple definitions. When you read fiction your always trying to predict the outcome its where fan fiction comes into play. Its also why twists in the plot give us such a thrill. We have already formed ideas on how the story is going to play out and when the twist comes - we no longer know whats going to happen. However that being said, when I play war games with some friends or at a convention, I use assumptions knowing for instance that "john" enjoys close combat and thus will fall for a drawl trick a little more easily. While at a convention playing someone I dont know that. instead I have to relie on implications and hard evidense.

I guess the points made by

I guess the points made by the reading is quite obvious to a certain extent, but I also thought it's kind of nice how they actually spelled it out for us. We all more or less know the definitions and things, but just never attempted to actually put it into words, which I thought this reading did a good job on.
And I understand, when playing video games with someone you know really well, like your siblings or something, you can kind of predict their moves because you know them so well, but playing with a stranger like through an online game is way more difficult to predict.
