ENGL 420: Business Writing

This past week our project has been in the very early stages of planning. For the most part, we have been trying to nail down exactly what problem we will be solving, as well as the various solutions that we are going to offer. Computer hardware and software are not subjects in which we are necessarily experts, so it will take quite a bit of work on our part to become knowledgeable on the subject. We all helped each other come to a better understanding of the current situation, as well as started collaboratively working on the outline.

The three main sources I’ve found for researching the topic for our paper are people to interview. I have established contact with each of them, but we are in the process of finding a good time for telephone interviews with each of them. Because of this, I can’t summarize the information they haven’t given me, and rather I will tell you the type information I expect to gather from them.

The first week working on the white paper project was a little hectic at times but has come together this weekend. Since the memo is due tomorrow, some of the research not only was for the actual white paper, but was also for the memo.
