Team 5 Week 9

Team 5 Work Blog: Pat McNulty

Fortunately our group assembled so many times throughout the past couple weeks. This allowed us to complete our project on Wednesday and at the same time, acknowledge the advice and recommendations that were provided by our fellow students. As I look back at this experience and group I was a part of, I realize that we were a very responsible and efficient group. From the very beginning, our group met at least once a week. Starting this habit at the very beginning of the project made it easy to work on the project.

So finally, my group has finished our white paper. The amount of work put into it this week has been amazing. The white paper has changed so much. We met on Sunday night around 7pm to make revisions to the rough draft that was due on Friday. We knew of some corrections and additions that needed to be made in addition to comments given by other groups. We did not have all of our figures in, the color scheme needed work, and we still needed figure captions. On Monday in class, we had a huge peer review document to complete for two other groups.

This is our last week to work on the white paper project before it’s due on Friday. I think our group is on the right track to getting the final draft done. Going through the peer review process has really helped us see what we need to work on and fix in our white paper. We have also taken what everyone has said about our white paper in the peer reviews into consideration. In class on Monday we planed to meet Tuesday afternoon in the DLC library to work more on our final draft. We have also talked about meeting Wednesday and Thursday depending on what all we still need to get done.
