Team 6 Week 8

Team #6 Work Log - Tim Watts

our group had the rough draft done on Monday. All we have left to do is place a few charts/graphs and any revisions due to peer editing. We've gathered the results from the survey and our other data and will be putting it together for our powerpoint. We've already decided that turning in the white paper won't be a problem because there's most than one of us staying in the area during the turn-in. I don't think that there will be any problems in terms of us completing the white paper or the presentation on time. (written on iphone, forgive mistakes, no internet)

Project Log Week 8

My group as been ahead of the deadlines be about a week. We started research before we had to, and by the end of last week, we each had completed at least 500 words for our assigned sections. Over the weekend, Tim inserted the text into our layout and completed most of the design elements. The rough draft of our paper was completed by Monday night. Because of this, we did not meet on Tuesday as usual, instead we proofread the paper and e-mailed Tim any of the minor corrections that were needed. I am very proud of the finished project and am looking forward to hearing what my peers think.

This week our group has been focusing on completing the rough draft of our White Paper, which is due Friday. We met last week on Tuesday night, as always, to divide up the work and set some goals. It was at this meeting that we decided to have each of our sections of the white paper, 500 words in length, completed by Monday night so that we could begin working on the rough draft. Tim had informed us far in advance that he would be out of town this week, so we have worked hard to stay ahead of the game and on track, despite missing one group member for the week.

My group and I have been ahead of the game since the start of this project. We started our research as soon as we formed our group and held our first meet that very week. Because we had a jump start on the project we are now able to really concentrate and focus on the specific parts of the project that are due, such as the rough draft due Friday. Class on Friday gave us an opportunity to set up guidelines for what is due and when it is due by for this weeks rough draft.
