Team 5 Week 8

Team #5 Work Blog: Pat McNulty

Our group definitely is having some troubles with incorporating design elements and text on one document. The combination of Microsoft Word’s new software and an extremely poor presentation on Microsoft Publisher and Adobe Photoshop has made it difficult for our group to insert design elements like pictures, graphs, quotes, et cetera. However we did pull together a decent rough draft after a long evening at Hick’s undergraduate library. Our group did a very good job on distributing work among members. We also did an excellent job coming together to consolidate our work on to one draft.

This week my group and I have been focused on completing the rough draft of our white paper. The outline we had to turn in last week has been very helpful in knowing what each section should include in our paper. I feel really good about where my group is in this project. We only have three people in our group but we have been able to separate all the work evenly. Each person had to write one solution and then either the executive summary, introduction or conclusion.

At this stage of the White Paper Project, I am feeling good about where my group is. We have three members in the group so we each took a solution and one of either the executive summary, the introduction, or the conclusion. That way, we all have about the same amount of writing to do. Our group outline turned out to be fairly detailed, which has helped writing the paper to be much easier. Individually, we worked on each of our solutions. Tuesday night we met as a group in the DLC to put the solutions together and to help each other out on them.
