ENGL 420: Business Writing

This week in the project we completed the writing for our paper and put it together. Christa and I wrote the body and conclusion of the paper. We met on Monday morning and then on Wednesday night. The group as a whole met on Wednesday night to put all of our writing together and make sure everything was done for Friday morning. Cassie wrote the introduction and executive summary. Ryan took all of our writing and pulled out the important information to put in tables and graphs. He also came up with the layout and design of the paper.

We completed our rough draft in time for class, but it was a difficult process. Because of our schedules we could only meet as a group once during the week. This made it hard get it done, so our rough draft, in some ways, is very rough. However, I think it is a good start and as a team we have already identified some places that we know need a little more work.

This week we put together our first rough draft. I am pleased with it. The other members of my group worked on research up until this point and had begun writing the paper exclusively via google docs during the course of the previous two meetings (on wednesdays at 5:30pm). I however, have contributed very little besides attendance as and some mild research. However, this week was where my job became hard. The rough draft was due and the entire design aspect rests on me since I had the design experience.
