ENGL 420: Business Writing

Another week went by on our white project. This week went pretty fast for me. I feel we made some progress. At same time I feel like we need to be doing more and picking up the speed. This next week is going to be by far the most important week for this project. This week we made our outline. This should be able to help our team put together the main points and such in our white paper. I would like to see the rough draft done pretty early in the week. In this rough draft I feel like need to concentrate on content rather than on looks, that can always be added later on.

It seems that the project is progressing quite rapidly and that now I'm starting to understand just how complicated writing the paper will be. This seemed like a simple research project at the beginning , but now I realize that the research aspect will have to be much more detailed than I thought. I have been having some trouble finding sources and information on my potential solution of price discrimination as generally most companies do not like information on tactics like this to be published.

Lets see. So far, it's been decided that I'll be working on one of our solutions for the actual paper portion of the white paper. I also took on the role of PowerPoint Put'r Together Guy which was cool with everyone. Research seems to be coming along pretty well. Seems like everyone is pulling their weight so far, but I sometimes feel forced into a slacker role because of my lack of ability to access the internet. I'm liking the use of Google Docs that we've had as both communication and working on the project. We've had a couple e-mails that try to keep everyone in the loop.
