Team 5 Week 7

This week my group and I made good progress on our project. We met on Sunday night around 9pm and wrote up the memo. Our original topic of making Purdue Eco-Friendly has been reduced to just recycling here at Purdue. The Eco-friendly topic was too in depth and did not really meet all of the requirements for a white paper. The recycling is proving to be much better. Also this week in class we divided up the group work. I am responsible for our solution number two, and my other group members each have one of the other solutions.

This week has been productive for our group. We decided on our topic, Purdue’s recycling program, which was nerve-racking fro everyone in the group. However, I am afraid that this topic will not have a lot of information. On the other hand, we did receive some good information with the help of the Purdue Department of Grounds. I believe this information is not available online, this gives me hope that much more information like this can be gathered.

My team and I are currently working on creating a very detailed outline. We met on Sunday night around 9pm and plan to meet again on Thursday to work on the outline. This is because its due Friday but having this due will help us but having a head start in the actual writing of the white paper. It will make things be quicker and easier for all of us in the end. This week during class my group and I established who would be responsible for different aspects of the white paper project. We all agreed to the terms of who does what and will be responsible for doing those things.
