Team 10 Week 6

Our Project

So far our accomplishments have been seemingly effortless. We are working together really well as a group and it makes me think that this project will go better than I had figured. I hope that we all actually learn a few things along the way. On a side note, I'm a BIG fan of class randomly being canceled. I know that overall this project will go by quickly but thus far I am happy with the pace.

First week

In the first week, we have met and discussed the details of our project. Our White Paper topic is alternative fuels. We have decided that the ethanol fuel source is not desirable, and the present fossil fuels are depleting and harmful to the environment. Our three solutions are to have cars made that can run on other biodiesels made from grass, animal fat, soy ect. The other two solutions are hydrogen fuel cells and electric. We each have an idea of what that entails, but more research needs to be done. We have decided our audience is the CEO of General Motors.

Overall, my group has been working well together thus far. When we meet our meetings are constructive and beneficial. I think that we equally do a great job. So far the research that I have for this topic is as follows. I found this website http://www.biodiesel.com/why_biodiesel.htm that has a great article on biodiesel and gives helpful information on what is it, how it will work and how it can be beneficial. In the article it talks about how biodiesel is safer and cleaner for the environment and I would agree.
