Team 12 Week 8

Week 8 Project Log

This week for our group project we worked on the research and publishing aspects of the project. We took the research we had gathered and incorporated it into a workable white paper report. We then took the white paper report from a word document and incorporated it into publisher for formating and design purposes. This week we sent out a lot of emails to update each other on the progress of the project. David and I also did much of our project discussion during accounting, because the professor is terribly boring.

This week I typed up the introduction and conclusion to my group's white paper and added it to the body of our paper. I feel that that I wrote still needs a fair amount of revision, but as the body of our paper takes a firmer shape I can strengthen what I have written to reflect on our content more effectively. I plan on adding a few quotes to my parts, but I want to make sure that I don't take quotes that are going to be used in the body. After the paper is done I need to help make sure that it surpasses the 1700 word minimum, but at the same time ensure that it doesn't ramble.

Team #12 Project Log Week 8

This week was mostly about creating our white paper’s rough draft. In accordance with our group’s work contract Chris and I began writing the rough draft and had it completed by Wednesday morning. Nicole and Adam began the editing process this week and will continue to work on it through next week. In order to make up for not being able to attend our group meeting last Thursday to complete the white paper outline I took it upon myself to work on the larger part of the writing for the rough draft.

Getting There

Dividing up the work has proven to be fairly successful thus far. The rough draft is almost ready to go. All that is left is proofing and the design. The design is going to be the hardest part. I have a feeling that this will take a while to get right. Group communication this week has been through e-mail. We are mostly working individually due to conflicting schedules and then forwarding what we come up with to each other. We are really going to have to push ourselves to have something worthy of a peer review for Friday, but I am confident that we will make the deadline.
