Since there was only one reading assignment for this week I will be writing about that and how I feel I am doing in the class. This week we had to read about our third and final project along with a client-based requirements page. For this next project, groups will be formed of 2-4 members. I am going to be in the same group I was in for the last group project since we all got along so well. For this project we will be asked to locate a real client who works for a non-profit organization, academic department or small businesses. The clients must be in the West Lafayette or Lafayette community area which is great because it makes communicating with them easier. My group will operate in a real world writing environment that requires collaboration with group members, our organization, and our instructor to complete the project by semester's end. This project seems very interesting but is going to have to be done very quickly. It is going to be challenging since there are so many deliverables to get done. I think my team will be able to get the job done though. I liked that the description of the project gave past project examples because it helps give my group ideas of what we could do. Along with the description of the project we had to read the client criteria. This explained how to choose our client for the project and what we should look for. This is going to be really helpful when my group and I start to look for someone. The second thing I wanted to write about is how I feel I am doing in the class. So far I think I am doing pretty well. I redid my resume and cover letter to turn in again on Friday. Hopefully I do better on them this time around. I also feel like my group did really well on our white paper project. We are going to be doing our presentation tomorrow and are ready to start our next project.
