I am so glad to be done with this white paper. It’s not that I have hated the assignment, but rather I am usually frustrated with assignments that are drawn out over a long period of time. It helps that next week is spring break, because we’ll get to turn in our papers and really relax over the week off. I think that our paper came together great in the end. This time last week was a completely different story. My whole team was able to pick it up in the end and put in that extra little bit to finish the paper. I had suggested from the beginning that I would do the final editing, and I’m glad that I did. It took me almost three hours on Wednesday afternoon to edit the whole nine pages, but having one person read through it all and make it all flow better was a good choice by our team. I believe that the three other members in my group are good students and writers, but I found a lot of things while reading through it that needed to be revised. It was a lot of simple things like word usage and run-on sentences, which were pointed out in the peer reviews we did this week. Also, before the final editing it had been a conglomerate paper of four people writing four separate pieces. The reader could tell what one person had written and when it transitioned to another person based off of the wording choices and train of thought. By having one person edit the paper, this was all smoothed out into one complete paper. After I was done editing, I emailed the paper to Filip who volunteered to touch up the last formatting things (formatting is not my strong point, and really frustrates me) and get it printed and turned it. I am excited to finally be done with it, and I hope that preparing the presentation will go smoothly for us. My group has been fun to work with during this project and I feel like I’ve learned a lot about writing in the workplace.

I really do not enjoy long lasting assignments either and this one seemed to take forever. I'm sure the next one may not seem so bad though.
