This week in class we finished reading the booklet on group collaboration. It is important to follow the rules and keep everyone one the same page. It is crucial that all team members feel equally involved in the project. It is important to voice lots of ideas to see all sides of project. This also creates a some what uniform vision. It is also important to split the work load amongst the team members to be efficient, and to make the poject less over bearing. There is a challenge to sharing the same vision for the project. After two weeks, my team members and I still see different aspects of the project differently. We also looked at more white paper projects this week. We focused on the style of these papers, and what attracted our eye and what did not. We gathered ideas of how we are going to create our own White Paper. Consistency on all pages creates a professional appeal. It is important to present the information efficiently, and keep it straight to the point, because employers do not have time to read through numerous amounts of information. Color scheme is also important when presenting a white paper. The colors can be symbolic to the subject. An example would be using green colors when discussing the environment. Also, the color scheme should be easy on the eyes and not strain the reader. Cool complimentary colors for graphics and design should be used over harsh contrasting colors.
