This week our group has been focusing on completing the rough draft of our White Paper, which is due Friday. We met last week on Tuesday night, as always, to divide up the work and set some goals. It was at this meeting that we decided to have each of our sections of the white paper, 500 words in length, completed by Monday night so that we could begin working on the rough draft. Tim had informed us far in advance that he would be out of town this week, so we have worked hard to stay ahead of the game and on track, despite missing one group member for the week. Tim organized the layout and design of the white paper, putting together each of our sections that we wrote. Then, the only part left to complete was MLA citations for our document. We discussed our plan for citing in the white paper and all worked hard on Monday to complete our citations by that evening. With everything complete, Tim put together a rough draft of our white paper by Tuesday evening. Since Tuesday, and the completion of the rough draft I have been focusing on critiquing our white paper. With a sample of our final product on paper it is a lot easier to see what we like and dislike. So, each group member has been reviewing our white paper for possible improvements that we can make before our final white paper. Also, we all have begun researching possible presentation options. We are planning on creating a PowerPoint, so each group member is analyzing their section, deciding which information is most relevant and needs to be highlighted in our presentation. I think our group has had tremendous success in this project thus far. We have managed to maintain a position ahead of where we are supposed to be. Along with that, we have all worked hard, completing our individual tasks as assigned and combining forces to produce a very professional and well organized white paper.
