My team's progress for this project so far has been really good. Everything has been running very smoothly from meeting arrangements to the actual research. My role in the project to this point has been mainly research on possible solutions for the Health Care problem. The first source that i used in the research of finding a solution for health care for small businesses was the National Federation of Independent Business website. This website specifically talked about the health care problem for small businesses and gave me a lot of insight on what could be done to help the problem. It went in to more detail about why it is such a huge problem as well as provided the basis for some solutions. The second source that I used was the actual websites to the presidential candidates. I specifically went through Hilary Clinton's and Ron Paul's proposals for the health care problem. Each candidate gave its own guide on how they would go about helping out the situation and ultimately solving it. These sites were also very helpful in giving me ideas and a direction to head for the problem. The final source that I used was Shelly Faust. She is a government and economics teacher, and she provided me with more insight into the actual problem and more possible ways to solve it. She is currently involved in this problem because many high schools especially the area she teaches in are having difficulties with the extremely high premiums and other areas as well. She gave me more information and education about the problem in an actual environment and someone experiencing it firsthand. All of these sources have been critical to my understanding of this problem and in helping me decide on possible solutions for our project. I will also be looking forward to finding and using many other sources in order to help out with this project even more.
