I wanted to do an idea about being Eco-Friendly for the white paper project. This project would help raise awareness about this topic and get Purdue to be more Eco-Friendly. Being Eco-Friendly is not just about recycling but going beyond that. I have already done some research about this in other classes and I have a lot of interest in it. We are already becoming more Eco-Friendly by having light bulbs that are more efficient and cleaners that are better for the environment. This topic will be directed mostly towards Purdue employees but should also be directed towards the student body so everyone knows what is going on. Being able to give everyone at Purdue this knowledge about being Eco-Friendly is great because they will carry with them whenever the leave here. This in turn will be passed to others and then more people will know about the advantages of being Eco-Friendly. I think you have to start helping the environment we live in and what better way to start at Purdue. I am sure that throughout this project I will come up with even more things Purdue could bring in to be Eco-Friendly. I think going Eco-Friendly could put and make Purdue stand out of other universities. This might even be another reason to decide to come to Purdue. Not only doing this white paper project it would help the environment as a whole and it would also benefit Purdue as an organization. I see someone else has the same idea as me and would really like to work on this with them. I think being able to create change in the world we live in is something great and worth while.
