Delays at airports resulting from over use continue to be an increasing problem. Often, airlines like to schedule their flights so they all leave and arrive at airports at the same time. Also, morning and evening rushes continue to cause delays all across the country. As a result, the FAA has tried a lot of plans to decrease the delays. These have included things such as flat out placing a cap on the number of flights an airport can have everyday. O'Hare is one of these airports, but as anyone from Chicago knows, there are still plenty of delays. Most recently, the DOT has approved a plan that would let airports charge more for airport services during high volume times. I think that it would be a good idea to look at this option, as well as others to see what the best plan is. It is a problem that has existed for quite a while and still doesn't have a solution, so it should be relatively interesting.
