We will conduct peer reviews via the site and email. Here is the procedure (read this entire post carefully BEFORE doing anything because any errors can really derail the whole process):

  1. Click on the title of this post (Employment Project Peer Reviews in big blue text above).
  2. If you are the first responder:
    • Add a comment to THIS POST (this is important to keep the visual hierarchy).
    • Make the SUBJECT of your comment: Group 1
    • Post whatever you like in the body (public-friendly of course).
    • Once your group fills, jump to Step 4 below.
  3. If you are the second responder:
    • Join Group 1 by replying to the Group 1 comment (NOT this post but the Group 1 comment: Again, this is necessary to maintain visual hierarchy) indicating you have joined the group. NOTE: Group 1 is full once 3 people are in the group (The group creator and 2 responders).
    • Once a group has two replies, it is full (3 people per group: The group creator and 2 respondents). Do not join a group that is full.
      • Doublecheck after you post to make sure someone else didn't reply at the same time you did. If you are the third responder, delete your
        comment and create a new group (read below)
    • Creating a new group:
      • Add a comment to THIS POST (this is important to keep the visual hierarchy).
      • Make the SUBJECT of your comment: Group X (where X is replaced by the next number in sequence after the last numbered group).
      • Post whatever you like in the body (public-friendly of course).
      • Once your group fills, jump to Step 4 below.
    • Lather, rinse, repeat as needed until we have enough groups.
      • Always doublecheck after you post to make sure two people weren't posting at the same time. If so, the last post needs to make the adjustment. So, if you were the fourth person to join a group or the second person to create a group--delete your comment and join or create a group as needed.
  4. GROUPS MUST BE COMPLETELY FORMED BY MIDNIGHT FRIDAY.
    • Once your group is formed (correctly):
      • Get the email addresses of your groupmates (I recommend private messages for this--remember that most of the site is open to the public).
      • Determine what format everyone can open (.doc, .docx, .rtf) on their computers.
      • Email your resume and job application letter (as attachments--do not copy/paste) to your other two groupmates.
      • Get the peer review documents from the bottom of Week 4 and complete them for each of your group members.
      • Email the review documents once you complete them (no later than midnight Sunday).

NOTE: It does not matter which class you are in. You can be in groups with people from your own class or the other two.
