My progress in the course has been fairly well. I finally got the hang of posting blogs every week and also the reading responses. The amount of technology we use and how crucial it is to the class has exceeded my expectations by far. I did not expect that our coursework was going to be so closely tied with computers although now I see its usefulness. I have narrowed my job search to a company in Chicago, IL called Ashton Partners. They are a consulting company that deals with the financial markets and various other industries. I feel that I am well qualified for the position that involves lots of interaction on the phone in a high paced environment. It also required an interest in the financial sector, which has been one of my closely followed hobbies for a long time. I think the internship has a lot to offer and will bring me extremely valuable experience that I could use after graduation. Not only that, but since the company is located in Downtown Chicago, I think it would be a really fun place to work at.
