So far after the first part of the project, I have found project 1 to be very beneficial. Before we started the project I did not really know what I wanted to do this summer when it came to work. Actually, I was just too lazy to do the work and go out and look for an internship. However, this project forced me to do exactly that and I am happy that I have done that. I found several helpful resources and used them to locate several companies in my area that are looking for summer interns. As a result, I applied to a few accounting firms back home and am hoping to get an internship from one of them. Now I am looking forward to working on my resume and cover letter so I can begin the next step to locking up an internship for the summer.
