I had never searched for any job online before. I was very impressed at how many sources I found online for an internship. I was even more excited to find how many of them I was qualified for. Furthermore, I was finding them close to home and that was something I didn't figure I would be able to do. I think as businesses become more computer savvy it brings even better opportunities for everyone. Other than these sites I'm not sure where I would have looked to find anything because at home newspapers are about as far as it goes but hear-say is much more prevalent when it comes to job searching than online applications.

I think the reason writing is so important in the business world is basic. Most people in the business world seem to be doing all they can to impress someone. Meeting people is one thing but having them read something you've written will either blow them away or show them what you're incapable of. From the time you attempt to start in the business world with your resume to the time you chose to end with your letter or resignation and all in between writing may be the most important skill required of you.
