This weeks readings were about do's and don'ts for our materials, ie. flyers, brochures, etc. In order to get the readers attention and do well at marketing their are alot of strategies to help us get there. I did not realize so many rules were in place and mainly because of the way the brain works and the way we read things, and the most important thing is that we have the chance to continue to implement strategies to ensure our companies event becomes a successful reality. One aspect I think was missing was the fact that we rely a lot more on a electronic media and I think there should be more facts given in terms of this aspect of do's and dont's. I know as college students most of our ads and promotion comes over electronic media I would like to see more about this. Also, we discussed our oral presentation strategies, the difference between this one and the last one is we are actually working for the company basically they have hired us to do a fantastic job and we should act accordingly because we don't want to let our company down.
