This week, our group met with the client for the first time. It was a relatively informal meeting where we all sat down to discuss exactly what the project would entail. This summer, our client will be opening up a coffee shop. As a result, they will need training material for their new employees on how to safely handle food and keep the work place sanitary. As such, our group will be responsible for a few pages out of a their employee training handbook. These pages will describe personal hygiene, the use of a thermometer to check food temperatures, sanitizing the work place and handling of food. Each of these sections should be one page with an accompanying quiz to test the employee's knowledge and comprehension. We will provide this material in both hard copy and as an electronic file in order to allow the client to edit the material as needed. Seeing as the coffee shop will not open until this summer, the client does not immediately need the material. As such, we will complete the material as the dates state on the English 420 website.

Currently, our group still needs to develop a more specific time line for completion dates as well as determine who will create which information pages. This will be taken care of before the proposal that is due on Monday.
