This is a reading response for the explanation of how to do a proposal. Reading this has given me a good idea of where to begin in terms of doing what I think the hardest parts of this project are going to be: contacting an employer and then setting up a proposal. This reading gave detailed explanations of how to format everything so it comes across in a professional manner so that when I do submit it for a potential customer that even if they decide not to accept our proposal they’ll at least be impressed with our layout. I especially thought the part about making sure you have tables, graphs, and statistics on the company to show that they could use your help were important. I think the message of this is to overall make sure you tailor your proposal in a way to make it seem like the company would be foolish no to accept your help. Of course I don’t mean come off as arrogant but basically make sure you can prove your point with as much factual info as possible.
