For our Client Based Project, we have decided to keep the same group as we had for the White Paper Project. We had a lot of success with our last project when we worked together, so there is no reason why we should change the group around.
We started out the week by looking at each one of our client ideas blog posts. All of us had different and unique clients, but only one of them stood out. The new coffee shop, Greyhouse Coffee & Supply Co., seemed like an ideal client. After discussing the possibility of this company as our client, it was time to write the memo.
Since the memo was due Wednesday by class time, we decided to work on the memo both Monday and Tuesday. For our memo, we came up with 3 possible clients for our third project. Our first possibility was of course Greyhouse Coffee & Supply Company. We would offer to prepare them training documents for their new employees. Our second possibility was to approach Healthy Families about developing pamphlets on different aspects of childcare for parents. Our third and final possibility for a client was the Purdue Aviation Technology Department. We would create new informational material that would be distributed to prospective students.
Since we never heard back from our professor about our memo being rejected, we are going to go ahead and schedule a meeting with our first possibility, Greyhouse Coffee & Supply Co. We believe that this client will be a very suitable client for this project. It is going to be a lot of hard work, but we believe that we will be successful in completing the project requirements and meeting the needs of our client on time.
