We had a group meeting on Thursday and completed our outline. There was a little bit of confusion on how the outline should look, but I believe we did sufficient work. As a group we decided on the subpoints for the main topics. I think that our group works together well, and we all have great ideas and are open to other's ideas as well.

By limiting outsorcing a company can stand to make more money by cutting out the middle man. This could be used by any company big or small. It is a pretty broad topic and there would be plenty of information out there.
I chose resumes 4, 10, 18, 24, and 28 because they were all straight to the point. I did not have to dig through a ton of text that nobody in their right mind would read. Even though some people had a 4.0 GPA I found my self skimming right by their resume because they were either unorganized or entirely to wordy. I felt that the people I chose were not only straight, but they had some worth while things about them that were easy to distinguish. Now it is really obvious to me that a resume needs to be organized, easy to read, and have good information.
I am having a little trouble getting started on the project because I missed the entire first week of the course so I am a little behind. I did print off the ads, read the comments, and chose the option I thought that was best for me. A question I do have is what are we actually suppose to be doing on the project right now?
The E-mail Guidelines are extremely helpful in explaining exactly how to setup a professional e-mail. In business and during our college careers we send e-mail out every day. An e-mail can even go as far as being your ticket to getting a job that you have applied for. Whether you send an e-mail to a business associate, professor, or even a friend you don’t want to take away from your credibility by sending a sloppy e-mail. I constantly find myself reviewing outgoing e-mails but not necessarily knowing what to look for.
I am from Crown Point, Indiana which is located in the northwest corner of Indiana by Lake Michigan. Once you leave my subdivision there is nothing but cornfields and cows. I am a sophomore and am attempting to earn a degree in management. After college I would like to do something in human resources because I am a people person even though it might not seem like it at 7:30 in the morning. In taking this course I would like to gain confidence in my writing skills especially in a professional situation. Finally, I am a member of the social fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon, SigEps for short.
