ENGL 420: Business Writing

So far we've come up with the topic of "the importance of setting up a good training program". This was our original topic. At first we had only two team members and ended up join another team with only two members. Although they had already decided on their topic, we ended up deciding to do this topic. Ive done alot of research on this topic and the sources come from a textbook from one of my previous classes called Employee training and development, and www.humanresources.com.

The resume reading was very helpful in providing me insights on how to build a good resume and how to impress your potential employer through your resume. The Reading stresses that a resume should look good to the reader at first glance or it might not the read and it might even be thrown out. It also talks about the importance of a cover letter. These tips are very helpful when building a resume.

After reading the resume extravaganza document, i decided that i would much rather prefer the format of pages 1, 8, 9, 22, and 20. i picked these resumes for an interview becuase the content was direct and straight to the point. The resumes were not too long and they stood out above the rest of the resumes.
