This week there was not much to od for either of the projects. We already had both of our final drafts done. All we had left to do was to turn in the evaluations. Overall, I am very happy with our projects. I learned about the difficulties that accompany working in groups via the internet.

This week my group will be going over our techical marketing project and the white paper project. We will be going over them and making the last round of revisions to them before they are submitted. Last Friday, we had a meeting to go over our technical marketing document. This was the first meeting we have had all semester where everyone in our group was able to come. We made a lot of revisions to out technical marketing document. I feel this draft is much, much better than the first.

Group 5-I havent been able to find your technical document. Can anyone tell me where it is?

This week we had some miscommunication about when the 3rd draft of the white paper was due. Marc actually worked on most of our revisions, thinking it was due last week. This week we have decided to meet tonight to go over his revisisons as a group and put together the final draft. As far as the technical marketing project goes, we turned in our proposal last week on shcedule. We are planning a meeting this week sometime to get started on putting it together.

This week I think my group got a lot accomplished. Lately there hasn't been a lot of communication in our group about this project. Monday we had a meeting to get everything straightened out for the proposal. We divided up the work for it and we each did our part. We then emailed everything to Joe and he put it all together and submitted it on Wednesday. I am very pleased with our proposal and where we are going on this project.

 

The document that I am going to cover is the Coen Kiln document. I found this document very interesting in that I thought that kilns are generally just used in making ceramics. I had no idea of thevarious other uses for them. I think this is a very well put together document. It used alot of color which really caught my eye. One thing that I think made this document very easy to read was the bullet points and subheadings. These really broke the document up into sections and had important points very clearly labeled.

So far this week I have not heard from any of my group members regarding this project. I have been doing some research and I believe that I have found some good sources for information. I plan on sending out an e-mail today to all of my group members so we can get moving on some portion of the project this week.

After reviewing the Volkswagon document again, I did notice some things that I didn't  really pay much attention to before. The first time I looked at this document, I thought it was just a bunch of flashy pictures to look at. This being true, I didn't really put much thought into the pictures. I guess I would say that the second time I looked at it, I realized that there was more information there than I had initially thought. Aside from this, I did not really have any questions about anything.
