Technical Marketing Project Log: Final Log

jhavekos's picture

We received our final feedback regarding our marketing project today, it's complete! There were only a few minor changes that needed to be made to our previous draft, per Tracy's feedback. Anthony spread the material out over 4 pages rather than 3 and made a few other adjustments. The final product looks very good. Props to Anthony for his Adobe Illustrator skills. I'm very pleased with the document and the work we put into it.

White Paper Project Log: Final Log

This project has finally drawn to a close as I submitted our final draft just several minutes ago. Our team has had some correspondence this week to deciding our finalization process. Anthony handled the general changes, Jaime added and adjusted some data in a section that she was responsible for and I proofed and submitted. We accidentally sent Tracy our final draft before it was completely finalized. I still had some changes to make and it was sent in a little early.

This week has been much less eventful than our past week. We received our graded white paper draft along with Tracy's suggested revisions on Sunday. Anthony volunteered to make the general changes and I volunteered to proof and submit. Anthony has made his changes and we're currently waiting on Jaime and Tony to make a few adjustments to some data presentation in their section. As soon as this takes place, I'll be checking that all of our edits were included and that the draft is good to go.

This week was incredibly busy as far as our Technical Marketing Project goes. It began with the document specifications. Nobody else responded to e-mails so Anthony Q and I put together the specifications on Monday, Tony then proofed it for us and we submitted it. During this time we communicated via AIM. The next thing that was due was the first draft for peer review. I compiled a preliminary draft and e-mailed it out. It wasn't too great. Jaime spent some time on it and then Anthony Q spent some time on it and made it look great.

It was difficult to get our assignments done this week, but we were able to pull it off. We had a busy week with other responsibilities so it took some effort to coordinate the project. Our task for the week was to compose a story describing the project and then complete a

This week was very busy for many of our team members and our focus was primarily on the development of our Technical Marketing Proposal. However, I sent out an e-mail early in the week to remind the team about our upcoming draft submission deadline. Our current plan is to have each team member modify they’re own section of the document and then we’ll compile and resubmit. I’m currently editing the introduction and executive summary. I’m making several grammar changes, enlarging the visuals and making several

Templates: How good are they?

As I developed my personal website I used an online template as a starter for the design. It included a good amount of unique Java functions and I liked the overall layout. As I went along, inserting my own material and adding links, I found that I could not change a certain link bar that was included at the top of the page. I wanted to use the bar but obviously with my own links. I tried numerous methods of trying to change it but as soon as I refreshed the page, it went back to its former status. As an aside, I was using

We  received our white paper with Tracy's suggestions for changes on Thursday. We will be incorporating these changes over the coming week and re-submitting the draft for further feedback. I plan to contact the team regarding the implementation of the changes and a proposed timeline. A full report of the changes will be given in next week's project log.
