Technical Marketing Final Log
Posted May 2nd, 2008 by twriter12The last time we met as a group in class we needed to do some last minute changes. Our colors were off a little bit and we had some printing issues. The printer would not print the way that we wanted it to. So we had to try different printers to get the document to come out the way we wanted it to. We got the document printed correctly and then we went to turn it in.
White Paper Final Project Log
Posted April 25th, 2008 by twriter12This week we revised the white paper as directed in our e-mail. We completed each revision and made the necessary changes to ensure that we received the highest credit possible. We did not meet as group to finish these revision, instead we talked about what would happen in e-mails.
Technical Marketing Log
Posted April 24th, 2008 by twriter12This week we spent time really getting our design ideas on
the table and getting our information together to put on our document. We
figured out how we were going to put our document together. How and where we
were going to put certain information and pictures. We debated a little bit on
our document design, whether we were going to use a threefold or a fourfold brochure.
We then needed to find the right pictures and re-size them correctly to fit the
document. We then needed to find the right information that we wanted to use
Sample Document
Posted April 15th, 2008 by twriter12I believe we selected the perfect document to present our
information for our product that we are making our technical marketing project
on. Our design is a three fold brochure and will show our information. We truly
did not consider any other type of document design because the one we chose
seemed great for what we are doing. I do not think there are any attributes
that are negative about this design because it seems great for our particular
product. It is really great at displaying our images and document

RV
Posted April 4th, 2008 by twriter12The main emphasis I would use when potentially selling a RV
would be the benefits of such a vehicle. I would mention the fact that gas has
increased but I would constantly mention that the benefits of owning a RV will
outweigh the inconvenience of higher gas prices. I would really push this issue
to families who travel a lot by car. There are vehicles that are geared more
towards families such as mini-vans but they do not provided the freedom to move
around. Children get restless on long road trips therefore need to use some of
Technical Marketing Log
Posted March 27th, 2008 by twriter12Today was the first day we met as a group. The first thing we did was exchange e-mails to keep in contact with each other. We began discussing what would be the best topic to begin with. Then we started discussing what would be the best product from that topic. We went over a few ideas and finally came across and really good one will surfing the web. We then discussed the potiental of this idea, who we planned on being our target audience and what our document design would be.
Technical Marketing Reaction
Posted March 27th, 2008 by twriter12When I first read about the technical marketing project, I
thought that it might be easier than the white paper project. With the
technical marketing project, you are pretty much just get the word our about a
product or service that you are trying to sell. This could be compared to a
teenager going around their neighborhood handing out flyers for a lawn mowing
service or something like that. Although this will entail much more details and
in-depth analysis of what service or product you are trying to get across. This
White Paper Project Log
Posted March 27th, 2008 by twriter12This was the last week my group and I worked together on the project. We did some finishing touches on our draft. We added some graphics, images, charts and graphs to make our project more appealing to our audience. We expanded on a few sections of our paper to make it longer, detailed and more in-depth. We added explanations on our visuals to make sure that our readers knew what we were trying to show them. We did some more minor research on different aspects of our paper to add a little more to them and we cited these in our bibliography.
Visuals
Posted March 21st, 2008 by twriter12Two visuals that we are talking about including into our
paper are case studies and screenshots. The information that we will present will
be pretty basic to get our overall point across to our audience. What these
visuals will do is allow our audience to see exactly what we are explaining in
our paper. We will also get a little more in-depth in our explanations about
the visuals as we go through each one. The visuals will make the paper look
very professional and should keep our readers interested. One of the screenshots we will be
