service learning project idea
An idea I have for the service learning project is to write out a business plan for a small consumer electronics company. There are four people in my class in EET (Electrical Engineering Technology) and the good thing about this project is that it doesn’t apply to EET students alone. The business would be divided up into different sectors, management, projects, finance, etc. A management person could be in charge of the overall operation and write how to structure the business. A liberal arts student could be like an HR person and write how they would structure their part. Engineers would write how they would structure their individual teams and operations. We could then all come together and publish a pamphlet that would show what our company does and how we do it.
