Homesickness is something that I feel everyone can relate to, even if it is only to say that one does not feel this way. Having recently spent some time in Mexico, this state of emotions is fresh in my mind. It is difficult to describe the emotional and cultural hole that appeared during my stay south of the border, but sufficed to say that it did exist. This came as something of a surprise to me, as I had never previously experienced this, not even when I first came to college. Perhaps Lucy is simply in denial about her homesickness.
