Holocaust
The holocaust was a tragic time the affected the entire world, not just Europe. When there is mass killing like that of what the Germans were doing, then it is on the world to stop it. It is inhumane and unjust to let millions of people be killed for their skin color or beliefs.
I do not understand how someone could take part in the murder of millions of Jews among other people. The people who ran the concentration camps are cold blooded killers. They should have been killed by the means that they killed the Jewish people. Those who were in charge of the camps could not possibly have a conscience. It takes an un believably mean person to not care about other’s lives and be able to burn someone alive, day after day, year after year. I could not live with myself. There is no possible way anyone could pay me enough to help commit murder on any type of scale, especially millions of innocent people who have done nothing wrong.
It is hard for me to understand how the people of this world could have let the concentration camps and killings in Europe happen for so long before they stepped in to stop it. They, the Nazi party, packed their victims into train cars like cattle and drove them across the continent to the concentration camps. They barely fed them and the living conditions were harsh to say the least. Many people died on the long train rides because there was no room to live, no food to eat, and no water to drink. They literally were packed into a train car and the doors would not open again until they are at their destination. The victims were then put through physical tests to see who could work in the factories for little food and sleep, and if you were not able to then you were killed as soon as possible.
There were doctors and the concentration camps, but they did not help the sick like the common person would think. They would often perform medical experiments and amputations without anesthetics. Some of the operations were amputations of limps and other parts to see if the person could still live without a body part or how the body would react to certain circumstances. They would also studies the effects of mal nutrition and strenuous physical exertion without water or any other fluids. The doctors who did this are just as sick minded and pitiful as those who were doing the killings.
They killed people by putting them in showers and instead of water coming out of the shower heads; poisonous gas was pumped in until everyone was dead. Another way they would kill the victims of the holocaust was to burn them alive in huge farmhouses. There were killing so many people that they could not cremate them all, therefore they had to make mass graves and use bulldozers to push the dead bodies to their final resting place.
