In today’s society, obesity is a huge uprising problem. Children are less active than their parents were when they were their age, and parents seem to be aging a lot faster due to the lack of energy they have. Whatever happened to the days of fathers and sons playing football in the backyard or mothers and daughters taking long walks? There is not just one answer to this question. Fast-food, videogames, and computers along with many other forms of technology are all reasons why people are becoming fatter and fatter.

Supersize Me
Supersize me is a documentary about a guy who only eats McDonalds for thirty days. He is in perfect health and goes to the doctor throughout the documentary to insure his health is alright. It is amazing on how fat the United States is. One in four Americans is over weight. McDonalds makes up forty three percent of the fast food market in America.

Lucy
Jamaica Kincaid is a terrific author who wrote a compelling novel about a teenage girl who moved to New York to go to nursing school and be a nanny. Lucy grew up in the West Indies with her mother, father, and two brothers. She was not a quiet person by any means and she also does not seem to have morals. Lucy does what she wants, when she wants.

Holocaust
The holocaust was a tragic time the affected the entire world, not just Europe. When there is mass killing like that of what the Germans were doing, then it is on the world to stop it. It is inhumane and unjust to let millions of people be killed for their skin color or beliefs.

Hitler

When Timothy Treadwell would set up his camp he would try to keep it hidden as much as possible. There were multiple reasons for this, first was to make sure poachers would see him and so he could sneak up on them and protect the grizzly bears. There was never any poaches in the thirteen year documentary, there was only one time in the movie where they showed visitors who banked near where he was, but it just looked as if they were sightseeing.

Grizzly Man
Grizzly Man was an intriguing movie, although I did not see the good he was doing by living with grizzly bears. Timothy Treadwell was not brave in my eyes, I saw him as ignorant. Any person in their right mind would not put their life in danger to live with five hundred pound beasts.

First 100 Pages of Lucy.

My first impression of a nineteen year old au pair from the West Indies is a nice soft spoken person. This is not the case with Lucy. Actually, it is pretty close to the exact opposite. She is quite a ball of fire with her selfish thought process, her loose lipped speaking, and careless attitude towards life in general.

This is a “correction” video that is supposed to set the story straight about the untruths in Fahrenheit 9/11, a documentary by Michael Moore. The movie is eighty minutes and is supposed to reveal the twenty six misconceptions in Michael Moore’s two hour documentary. Is this telling the truth, was Fahrenheit 9/11 the truth, or are either of them the total truth? Everyone has their own opinion and the freedom of speech, but be careful of what truth version of the truth that you put the most stock into.
