Never mind Parallels. Here's CrossOverGames

The virtualization software, Parallels, makes it possible to run Windows within Mac OSX and thus, allows for the simultaneous use of Windows and Mac programs. In order to use Windows programs on the Mac, you must purchase Parallels and a licensed copy of Windows. But what if you just want to be able to play some PC games? Enter CrossOverGames, a virtualization software that allows you to run PC games on a Mac or Linux-based computer. At $39.95 it's a bargain. MacWorld reviews the software here. So, I'll have no more talk of mac being game-deficient. Aspasia's* going to get an inferiority complex if you keep it up.
*Aspasia is my laptop. You've met her. She's usually attached to my fingertips.
