Best wishes to all of you. I’ve always enjoyed how smart the ENGL 421 students are and this section was no exception. I had a lot of fun leading discussions and reading your assignments.

As I said in class, I will be leaving Purdue-- to join the English Department at SUNY-Oneonta, where I’m returning to full-time faculty status. I’ve included a link for any of you who need reference letters or just want to stay in touch.

I’m excited about the fact that my new job (in professional writing and world literature) will be a good fit for my somewhat schizoid background in both science writing and comparative literature. I am a little apprehensive, though, about moving to a small town (14,000) and raising a toddler on my own while trying to get tenure… Anyway, all the best to all of you!
