Posted April 18th, 2008 by smithnjFor our third project we are making progess. As a group we have not done a whole lot and need to get on the ball but as an individual I have been thinking of instructions for all the games that we have on our list. I am not concerned at all because I feel that we will be very productive this up coming week. We plan on monday or tuesday to make the videos and have the website done by friday. Finish it all by next week so we can touch up on monday and tuesday before it is due.

Posted April 9th, 2008 by smithnjSo far the work for our final project is kind of slow. I say that in the fact that we have everything planned out but have not done any real work yet. I think we have a good start. The work needed to be done should not take very long and should be fun. We should have all the videos finished and a rough draft of the booklet should be finished with small things to twick. Maybe just have a website. As for concerns I do not have any. Our group is strong and we should work well together.
extended definition of pump
Posted April 7th, 2008 by smithnjpump- device to lift, transfer, or increase the pressure of a fluid (gas or liquid) or to create a vacuum in an enclosed space by the removal of a gas (see vacuum pumps under vacuum). The centrifugal pump, the most common kind, consists basically of a rotating device, called an impeller, inside a casing. The fluid to be pumped enters the casing near the shaft of the impeller. Vanes attached to the spinning impeller give the fluid a high velocity so that it can move through an outlet.

Posted March 30th, 2008 by smithnjMy most memorable group project that I had would have to be in high school. I took physics two and with that class you had to build a boat out of cardboard. I knew this before I took the class and decided that this would be fun. So it became time to work on this project and my friend kurt and I worked together. I spent a couple of days drawing up the blue prints for our boat and started to get all the materials. We had four weeks to finish the boat. Kurt and I spent many a night working on the boat in my grandparents garage. It was so much fun.

white paper
Posted February 28th, 2008 by smithnjThis is my white paper so far. I know it still needs some work. I do not have a lot of detail or information to support my topics but that is coming. I have had some trouble finding the detail and path of my paper. I feel now that the path of my paper is going in the right direction. And as for the details. I planned on talking to some individuals face to face to help with the details over spring break.
