Posted April 30th, 2008 by kellieI have changed it again. I was going to originally make a brochure about the vet clinic I work at, then I decided to make a better website instead, and now I am back to the brochure. There are a lot of older people who are clients, and after talking it over with some of the people I work with, we thought instead of an improved website, a brochure would be better since most older people do not have computers or do not know how to use the internet. It is not as exciting as before with the website, but I think it will be more helpful. I just have to compile everything and post it.
Tornado Definition
Posted April 30th, 2008 by kellieFrom a scientific standpoint, a tornado is a 'localized and violently destructive windstorm occurring over land characterized by a funnel-shaped cloud extending toward the ground' (princeton.edu). From a personal standpoint, it is the most terrifying thing in the world. When I was in the second grade, a tornado hit our elementary school, which is jsut three miles from our house. Its path was across one of my dad's fields across from our house. It hit three family friend's houses and killed my dad's best friend. A tree fell on our house.

Posted April 30th, 2008 by kellieOver the summer I am just going to be working. I took classes last summer but will not be doing it this summer, so nothing professionally wise/school wise will be going on for me. I am going to a lot of weddings, though! Two of my good high school friends are getting married and my cousin is, also. I am the maid of honor (eck!) in my cousins, so it is going to be a pretty busy summer for me. My best friend is moving back from Kentucky this summer to go to school here, so I am sure I will be busy with her, too. Other then that, I don’t think I have anything else going on!

Posted April 11th, 2008 by kellieMy most memorable teamwork experience was in eighth grade for my history class. We got to devoelop our own country and make all the rules, cities, landmarks, attractions, and other stuff like that. It was a really fun project and the group ended up using my idea, which was pretty cool. Also, I shamelessly admit, the reason why it was so memorable was because I had a big crush on one of the guys who ended up being in my group and got to work with him every day until the project was over! (LOL)

Posted March 24th, 2008 by kelliefor our final project, i would like to work with the company i am currently employed at, which is a vet clinic back home. i have been there for 7 years, but this most likely will be my last year as i am getting close to graduating. i would love to do this project based on something with them as it is a great small little clinic that has grown amazingly, which i have seen first hand. i started there soon after they opened, so i have seen all the changes they have gone through.
