I really enjoyed Allison’s presentation about long distance relationships. It was the perfect topic. Most of us know at least one person who is in a long distance relationship and it was great to look at what they are going through. It was also awesome to see the relationships that you looked at were going strong and working out. Allison also presented and formatted her information in a great way. I loved how the slides were time and they rolled on their own like a movie. However, one thing that you did not cover was what they went through if the relationship did not work out. I guess they would then not technically be in a long distance relationship anymore. It is just something to consider.
I also really enjoyed Joey’s presentation. I never thought of laying out the presentation like a magazine article. The picture was pretty sweet as well. I am horrible at things like that and I am sure it took a ton of work. I also thought it was really cool that you could incorporate your major and previous skills into the project. Since you are already a reporter it was really neat that you could write your article from a reporters perspective.
I have really enjoyed all of the presentations so far. Morgan, Melissa, and I are working hard on our project and I hope it turns out as well as everyone else’s are.

I agree with Megan that Allison’s presentation about long distance relationships was very interesting and informative. I am currently in a long distance relationship. It seems to being going fantastic because yesterday my boyfriend and I celebrated being together for a year and a half! We were both very excited! It was interesting to see what other couples are going through as well and to know that I do some of the same things. However, I never thought of using a webcam to have “virtual dates.” I thought this was very innovative on the creator’s part. I never even imagined that could be a possibility, but it was rather intriguing. After awhile it gets kind of old not being able to see each other’s faces while talking.

I also enjoyed listening to Kayla, Rob, Ashley, and Kelsey’s presentation about what it would be like to be in a fraternity. I thought it was really fun to listen to and they did a great job put together their multimedia presentation. Personally, I could never be in a sorority; however a fraternity is a different story. I haven’t spent much time in a fraternity, but from my own personal experience it seems like guys are a lot more laid back than girls are. I know every fraternity has different traits that make it unique, but I think this group did a great job at pulling all of those ideas together to talk about fraternities. I also enjoyed listening to what others thought of when they heard the word fraternity.

Overall, I have enjoyed listening to these presentations very much!
