Yay for the first presenters.
First of all I would just like to tell all of you women, you did an amazing job. I know that at the end of the year it is hard to stay focused on projects and what not, especially when the weather is as gorgeous as it is outside. I could tell that a lot of work, thought and effort was put into each of the projects.
Melanie: Your topic is very interesting. I liked hearing about it, and what you learned from it. You are very knowledgeable in the subject area. I feel like the sources that you used for information all tie together very well. I like that you wrote a fictional story. I think that is very creative, and I would love to read it. Also, I am glad that you made it have a "happy ending". At least, that's what I thought I heard you say.
Emily: I am so glad you picked the Peace Corps as your topic. I would love to join the Peace Corps after I graduate, but I also know that it is a very high level of commitment. Anyways, I liked the format of your final project, the scrapbook. I think that was a very creative idea. I know a lot of people probably have diary entries and many pictures that they would use to put in a scrapbook after being in the Peace Corps. I like how you are telling a story through the scrapbook. It is very creative and I liked it a lot!
Harini: Your topic is very interesting, and I enjoyed your presentation. I feel like you knew almost everything about these women. I am glad that you narrowed the group of women down to a group in a certain area. The range seems to be very big. making a power point as your final project is a great way of giving information to people. I liked the pictures of the women and their clothing. It really helps visually. I think the organization is great too, you start in the history and work forward towards the modern Bedouin woman. Good work I really enjoyed your topic.
